Location; Roodepoort, Gauteng
Job description
To manage and control all cleaning, electrical and general maintenance outlets to the required standards within agreed budgetary limits and to provide effective leadership for all staff within the unit.
Responsibilities
- To management of Facility Cleaners
- To client Engagement and Satisfaction, through duty commitment and overseeing its completion
- To management and guidance of Electrician and Maintenance Personnel
- Computer literacy and basic documentation control
- To maintain personal health, hygiene, and professional appearance
- To maintain the cleaning program and correct usage of chemicals and equipment
- To ensure Cristal's standards, policies, and procedures are maintained.
- Liaison with Area Manager on site daily operations and monthly reporting
- To do daily checks and follow-ups on tasks allocated to staff
- To ensure that all safety and hygienic standards are adhered to, through training and toolbox talks
- To report maintenance and safety concerns to the manager and client as and when they arise
- To ensure that the correct uniforms and PPE are always worn.
- People Management and Engagement Skills
- Ability to communicate, motivate, develop, and coach staff at all levels
Requirements
- Must have matric/Grade 12
- Tertiary Qualifications will be advantageous
- Must have minimum 2-3 years of Supervisory experience preferably in the cleaning and general maintenance industry
- Must have knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- SHEQ principles
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Plumbing and Electricity
- English and preferably SeTswana or SePedi language.
- Must be client centric
- Must have good communication skills
- Organizational Skills
