A Store Manager will lead a team of passionate associates in maximizing store sales
Responsibilities:
- To promote sales. Manage stock, and control expenses to meet business targets. Achieve and/or exceed the required targets that are set out for the store. Use store resources effectively to maintain the productivity of the store. Encompass a thorough knowledge of stock and management of policies and procedures. Act as the custodian of all company policies and procedures to ensure standards are met. Assume accountability for the management and the training of all staff. Maintaining the company culture by treating staff in a respectful and professional manner. Ensure all interaction with customers results in an above-average customer service level.
- To monitor the cleanliness and hygiene store and staff accordingly to ensure that it adheres to the relevant laws and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Must have matric / Grade 12, Mathematics an advantage 2 years’ experience in a Retail Store Management or Assistant Store Manager role preferably in a similar retail environment.
- Must have excellent business English, both verbal and written
